2. SPECIALIZED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT SERVICES OVERVIEW
Specialized Medical Equipment refers to medically necessary devices, adaptations, and equipment that:

Are used in the home or community and not solely for recreation
Covered items may include:

3. LICENSING & PROVIDER APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS
